Daraa-Sana
Al-Sanamayn City Council in the countryside of Daraa started lighting the main street and some of the secondary streets leading to the city with solar energy.
The head of Al-Sanamayn City Council, Mahmoud Muhammad, told SANA reporter that the lighting included the main city street, Al-Thawra, March, Gamal Abdel Nasser and Al-Masfa streets, noting that the number of installed devices is about 90 devices that work on solar energy.
Muhammad pointed out that the installation of devices that operate on alternative energy would contribute to reducing electrical energy consumption and diverting the consumption of street lighting poles for the benefit of citizens.
