Chen Zhongni said that in Wan Chai that night, he had an outdoor greeting with the initially diagnosed person. The contact time was only about ten seconds. "I said hello, but my assistant is more patient and courageous in contact with him." He said it was not clear whether the assistant and the other party had the same meal or not, or wore a mask to communicate with each other, and he himself did not return to the Legislative Council building or the CITIC Council after that night.
He also said that the next day, Tuesday (4th), he and his assistant had interviewed applicants. They wore masks during the whole process. In addition, he had received two doses of the vaccine. He believed that the risk was not high. The office will conduct tests to protect everyone and report them as soon as they know that they have been in contact."
