Today, the Ministry of Education inaugurated a new school in the Dummar Al-Jazirah Project area, 24, divided 6, in preparation for putting it into service during the second semester of the current academic year. Its requirements were equipped with a grant from the People's Republic of China.
The area of the school is about 4000 square meters, consisting of three floors, 18 classrooms, two studio rooms, a laboratory, a library and an information hall, according to the director of Damascus Education Suleiman Younes.
Al-Younis indicated in a statement to the SANA delegate that the school will be put into service during the second semester of the second cycle, to be the nucleus of a model school that will relieve pressure on the surrounding schools.
Minister of Education Dr. Darem Tabbaa pointed to cooperation with the People's Republic of China in the field of education, securing its requirements and its stability, pointing out that this grant is offered for the third time by China for Syrian students, in addition to the contribution that will be made to the restoration of another school and the completion of its implementation.
The Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Damascus (Feng Biao) expressed his happiness at the opening of the school and putting it in service, pointing out that the aim of the scholarships offered by the Republic of China is to motivate and encourage Syrian students to pursue their educational attainment as they are the future of Syria who will contribute to building their country.
