Opinion | We're still sorry about the civil war on the right Israel today

2022-01-06T12:50:09.974Z

If the parties continue to dig into the bleeding wound instead of trying to heal and heal, the wound will become a pit that will draw everything and nullify religious Zionism - and we will lose everything • Opinion

shame.

shame.

shame.

To see and not believe what the House of Representatives of the State of Israel looks and sounds like.

The opposition's criticism of the Electricity Act is largely justified.

So is the claim that it is impossible to whitewash illegal Arab construction in the Galilee and the Negev, but to prevent the entire series of young settlements in Judea and Samaria.

This lack of symmetry is infuriating and outrageous.

But the opposition must also maintain statehood and the splendor of Betar in the way it conducts itself.

Prime Minister Bennett's statement towards MK Orit Struck is also shameful.

"Fly away from my eyes"?

Is this how a prime minister speaks to a valued and honest MK?

And to a Knesset member with whom he previously sat in the same party?

This civil war within religious Zionism is a bleeding wound.

If the parties continue to dig in it instead of trying to act for healing and healing, the wound will become a pit that will draw everything and nullify religious Zionism.

We'll lose everything.

Not only the partnership in the leadership, but also the Land of Israel.

The hourglass of the current Knesset is running out.

This government of no choice, formed altogether just to prevent another round of elections, will eventually disintegrate, sooner or later.

What will happen to the right the day after?

In the right-wing party and the Likud, the religious Zionist party must also think about this day, and not burn the barns and the last remaining bridges.

It hurts so much to see a Knesset where there is a clear majority for the ideology of the right, but whoever actually runs it, in Hebrew and Arabic, is one tiny party called RAAM.

One can be angry at Bennett, Shaked, Saar and Elkin, who agreed to form a government dependent on the mercy of RAAM. One can equally be angry at the Likud for repeatedly failing to field a leader who will win the election and unite the national camp.

These angers on both sides are not leading and will not lead anywhere - they are only intensifying the leadership space that has opened up on the right.

This brotherly hatred is the electric energy that allows the RAAM party to spin an entire country on its little finger.

Were we wrong?

Fixed!
