With this, the supermarket disappears from the Rheinpark-Center Neuss.

Kaufland has already taken over a Real in Neuss.

Cologne / Düsseldorf - The Real supermarket has another branch in Neuss: Emmas Enkel.

But it will soon be over for this Real branch as well.

Emma's Enkel store in Neuss, which belongs to Real, will be closed - in just a few months.

Real smashing: branches are taken over or closed

The Federal Cartel Office has already awarded around 200 Real branches to supermarkets.

In some cases, however, also several times.

Because the supermarkets still have to come to an agreement with the investors or landlords, so there could still be competition for attractive real locations.

Around 90 of the approved Real branches are still open.

These are on the wish lists of Kaufland, Edeka, Globus and Rewe.

That means: the supermarkets could take over the Real branches.

Real in Neuss: When does Emma's grandson close in the Rheinpark-Center Neuss?

For years there were two Real markets in Neuss.

At the beginning of the real breakup, Kaufland secured the Real location on Bataverstraße in Neuss-Vogelsang.

The Real branch went to Kaufland on February 1, 2021 and has already been reopened.

The second Real store in Neuss (Rhein-Kreis-Neuss) is located in the Rheinpark-Center Neuss and is run as Emma's grandson.

However, the Real location has no future.

Because: The Real branch Emmas Enkel will be closed on May 31, 2022.

Neither Kaufland and Edeka nor Globus seem to be interested in the Real market in Neuss.

Emma's grandson: Edeka takes over a branch in Düsseldorf

The concept of "Emmas Enkel" is based on a corner shop.

There was also a Real branch in Düsseldorf, Emmas Enkel.

Edeka has already taken over this.

Real takeover or closure: Kaufland, Rewe, Edeka and Globus take over Real

The ailing hypermarket chain Real is smashed.

That means: The Real branches will be taken over by another supermarket - or will be closed forever.

In the course of the real break-up, Kaufland, Edeka, Rewe and Globus in particular take over the Real branches.

With 115 Real stores, Kaufland has secured the lion's share.

This is followed by Edeka with approval for up to 64 Real branches.

The Globus supermarket can have up to 25 Real houses, but appears to be satisfied with around 18 locations.

Rewe has only received one approved application for two Real stores so far.

The supermarket from Cologne seems to be interested in up to 20 Real branches.

For this, however, Rewe would first have to submit a further application to the cartel office.
