Against the background of the increased number of infections, the state government wants to tighten the corona rules in Schleswig-Holstein again.
It is planned to limit the number of participants in the theater, cinema or concerts to 500 people from next week.
This applies to seated events, as the State Chancellery announced on Thursday.
The mask requirement in the country is expanded:

In organized sport and in the fitness studio, everyone over the age of 18 will have access to 2G plus, i.e. access only to those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered with a current test - with the exception of people with a booster.
"We are currently seeing an increase in infections - cases have also occurred after going to discotheques," said Prime Minister Daniel Günther (CDU).
The level of new infections meanwhile has a different meaning.
The high vaccination rate reduces the number of severe courses.
If the state parliament in its special session on Monday determines an epidemic situation for the north as planned, all discos and similar facilities should be closed.
In addition, the government wants to introduce a curfew from 11pm to 5am.

The number of new infections recorded per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days rose to 405.4 on Wednesday.
The number of infections has soared recently because participants in large Christmas parties in clubs were infected in several places.
Thousands of people are in quarantine because numerous guests there were infected with the Omikron variant.
