Terrorist organizations in Gaza have threatened Israel: "All options open" | Israel today

Senior Egyptian sources told the Al-Rai al-Yum newspaper that terrorist organizations in Gaza, led by Hamas and Islamic Jihad, are angry at the continued "procrastination" of Israel as their definition of understandings for lifting restrictions and rehabilitating the Gaza Strip.

Sources told the newspaper that senior Egyptian intelligence officials were in contact today with the leadership of the terrorist organizations in Gaza and discussed mainly the deteriorating situation and tensions in the Gaza Strip.

According to the report, the organizations have agreed to give Israel a deadline until next Thursday (January 13), in order to take practical and serious steps on the ground to ease restrictions on the Gaza Strip and remove all obstacles to restoring the rubble from recent rounds of fighting.

It was also noted that the organizations told the Egyptian mediator that their patience was running out in the face of "the acts of occupation in Jerusalem, the West Bank, Gaza and the prisons."

The organizations threatened that next Thursday, "all options are open."

Egyptian sources said that the Egyptian mediator conveyed the message to the Israeli side and discussed with him the easing and measures in favor of Gaza that would prevent any round of fighting.

Meanwhile, a member of the Fatah Central Committee, Samir a-Rafa'i, told Palestinian radio that a delegation of the movement led by Jibril Rajoub would arrive in Damascus in the near future to convey a special message from Abu Mazen to dictator Bashar Assad. As you may recall, Israel has agreed to the release of a security detainee who went on a hunger strike after threats from Islamic Jihad.

The detainee will be released next month after his administrative detention was expected to end in April.
