The police said that the background to the incident, which took place on Histadrut Boulevard in the city, is not clear.
Preliminary investigation revealed that two suspects carried out the shooting at the club.
"Police have launched a search for another operation, along with collecting findings at the scene, as part of an investigation that has been opened," it was reported.
The security guard, a 46-year-old resident of Acre, was detained for questioning.
In addition, a restraining order was imposed on every detail of the investigation and the identities of the suspects.
At the conclusion of the hearing extending the insurer's detention, the judge ordered his release under house arrest and ruled that "the suspect did use his weapon but did so to save other human lives."
