Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health tonight updated the companies that perform antigen tests starting tomorrow, all applicants (vaccinated / unvaccinated) to the antigen positions who stated that they were exposed to a verified patient, will be tested free of charge.

In the post-primary age there is a higher rate of immunizations than in the primary. While elementary school antigen tests will allow students to continue learning, elementary school students will have to go into isolation anyway in case of exposure. In addition, the parents allege discrimination and the fear that the tests will not be performed at home.
"There is no reason why an outline that makes it easier for students and parents to conduct the tests will not be uniform for all educational institutions. Immediate resources must be allocated for the issue," said Odelia Schindorf, deputy chairwoman of the national parent leadership.

Another dispute arose between the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health, when Education Minister Yifat Shasha Bitton claimed that the decision to conduct tests in schools was made without coordination with the Ministry of Education and without a legal settlement.

The Ministry of Education issued a notice stating that the decision on the matter was not in accordance with the Ministry, and did not include a legal procedure required to carry out such an action.
The education minister issued a statement against the Ministry of Health claiming that he was "creating chaos in the education system".
According to her, she urged the Ministry of Health earlier this week to conduct antigen tests at the school: "The Ministry of Health was not prepared with a procedure for carrying out the tests at the school, it informed the Ministry of Education. Nevertheless, it chose to issue a press release. .
The Ministry of Health said: "The ministry is invested in dealing with the disease, and will not engage in slander. An agreement has been reached between the ministries of health and education on a short postponement of the implementation of the move by Corona trustees, to ensure optimal preparation.
