The Al-Fida gin began in Hama, the beloved cotton ginning operations received from the farmers of Deir Ezzor and Raqqa governorates for the current season.
The director of the gin, Osama Kayal, explained to SANA reporter that the gin will currently work one morning shift and a ginning capacity ranging between 40 and 50 tons per day, indicating that the gin can work two shifts daily when necessary, especially with the availability of manpower as a result of contracting with contractors from the private sector in addition to permanent and temporary workers. in the gin.
Kayal pointed out that since the beginning of the marketing operations, the gin has received 2344 tons of the beloved cotton from the farmers of Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, where it will gin it and extract the agricultural seeds from it and deliver it later to the Foundation for Seed Multiplication, while the ginned cotton will be shipped to the spinning and weaving companies in various governorates.
