Theurer: The work of the Ampel-Coalition will "not be a walk in the park"

The FDP expects considerable resistance to the plans of the traffic light coalition.
"I believe that work in the federal government will not be a walk in the park for all three partners - the FDP, the Greens and the SPD," said Baden-Württemberg's FDP state chief Michael Theurer on Thursday at the Liberals' meeting of the three kings in Stuttgart.
Germany is not well prepared for the challenges of the coming decades.

The repair work that is now pending will also spark a headwind. "
The major transformations of digitization and climate protection required the greatest effort at all levels, said the Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport.
In doing so, one will have to recognize “that some problems can only be solved by tackling things that then lead to things that have to get worse before they can get better”.

The FDP traditionally gets in the mood for the political year with its Epiphany in Stuttgart.
Due to the pandemic, it will take place as an online event for the second time in a row this year.
Only the party leadership has gathered in the Stuttgart Opera House.
