At the start of the new year, singer Mela Rose was surprised by her Schlager partner Martin Hein: He asked for her hand - and she said “Yes”.

Vorarlberg - Martin Hein is known as the singer of the hit duo "Fantasy" *.

Together with Fredi Malinowski, he has been successful since the late 1990s.

The two are regulars on programs like “Immer wieder Sundays” or “Fernsehgarten” and have even been named “Duo of the Year” three times in a row.

Now the 50-year-old asked for her hand for the New Year after four years together.
