This also means a risk of slipperiness.

After a much too warm start to the new year, the first snow is now coming down to the plains.
All over Bavaria there are thick flakes on Dreikönig and on Thursday.
The Bavaria weather:
Munich - With such a mild start to the new year, many people no longer believed in winter in Bavaria.
The temperatures around New Year's Eve in the clear double digits were also clearly too high for the coldest time of the year.
There was also rain in many places.
This let the snow melt away up to over 1000 meters in the Alps and in the Bavarian low mountain ranges.
In the high season, winter sports enthusiasts only found green-brown slopes outside the snow-covered slopes - and that at the beginning of January.
Worse still: The warm air in connection with partly stormy rain caused flooding in parts of Franconia and the Upper Palatinate.
Deep Anette is responsible for this unusually heavy rainfall from the west in the past few days.
Weather warning for all of Bavaria: Warning of slippery ice and snow in the morning
But for the time being, the weather in Bavaria seems to match the season again.
It has been snowing thick flakes all over the Free State since last night.
The German Weather Service (DWD) warns therefore across the board of slippery roads due to freezing wetness and snowfall.
In the course of the day the snow line rises again.
In the lowlands, 1 to 6 degrees are expected.
Weather change in Bavaria: temperature drop and onset of winter on Thursday
But by the night of Friday at the latest, it will be really cold in the whole of Free State.
There is a risk of a drop in temperature during the night.
In some alpine valleys, for example on the Tegernsee, it could be as low as 12 degrees below zero.
But also in the rest of the Free State the thermometer falls well below freezing point and it snows as far as Franconia.
The cold is especially good there.
The rain turns to snow and so the current precipitation should not contribute much to the tense flood situation.
After reporting level three in Franconia was partly exceeded yesterday, the flood news service Bavaria is currently assuming falling levels everywhere.
In Regensburg, for example, the reporting levels are no longer expected to be exceeded on the Danube.
