The new corona test outline, for those exposed to a verified patient, will take effect tomorrow (Friday).

Under the outline, vaccinated young people under the age of 60 who do not belong to a risk group will no longer be referred for PCR tests, but for rapid antigen tests to be performed at their home or test centers.

This, in view of the many loads and huge queues at the testing complexes in recent days.

The new outline is divided into two: people aged 60 and over and members of risk groups - in front of the rest of the population.

In addition, the home tests will not be state-funded.

Minister Horowitz called for self-discipline, and to be examined at home.

"Our considerations are businesslike and do not enter into foreign considerations. We are preparing for a situation that is not easy, but the matter is definitely under control. We will pass this wave successfully. Maximum maintenance of health and minimum harm to democracy."

Corona projector Prof. Salman Zark called for "the separation of the unvaccinated and the at-risk and the non-at-risk population."

The director general of the Ministry of Health, Prof. Nachman Ash, noted that the change "was intended to locate the population at risk earlier and prevent serious illness.

Less looking at the verified, it's a different era. "

Horowitz:" We refer PCR tests to those who really need them.

Today we do hundreds of thousands of tests and today we do this separation - for the population at risk.

Those who are not at risk will make antigen. "
