The case made nationwide headlines in September 2020: A teacher is said to have murdered his sex partner because of cannibalistic fantasies.
The verdict is to be announced on Friday.
Berlin - In the trial for murder with suspicion of cannibalism, the Berlin public prosecutor has demanded life imprisonment for the accused teacher.
In addition, she requested that the particular gravity of the guilt be determined, which almost excludes a release from prison after 15 years.

The 42-year-old killed his victim because he wanted to implement cannibalistic fantasies, said public prosecutor Martin Glage on Friday in front of the Berlin district court.
He is convinced that the teacher murdered the sex partner in his apartment in Berlin-Pankow on September 6, 2020, divided the victim and deposited the body parts in various places in Berlin.
The case made headlines nationwide.
The 43-year-old initially disappeared without a trace.
Weeks later, pieces of bone were found.
The public prosecutor sees three criteria for murder fulfilled: the act was carried out to satisfy the sexual instinct and to enable another criminal act.
In addition, the defendant lured the 43-year-old man into a trap in September 2020 when he made an appointment with him.
