The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection announced the adoption of a new system for distributing bread in the governorates of Damascus and its countryside, starting from the first of next February.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it, stated that within the framework of the ministry’s plan to ensure the delivery of bread to citizens with a quality and weight of match, to end overcrowding in bakeries, and to obtain a bundle of bread easily and easily, a decision was issued to adopt a new system for distributing bread in the governorates of Damascus and its countryside, and the first of next February. date for the implementation of this mechanism.
According to the statement, accredited people will be selected, provided that they are grocers, whose number is calculated on the basis of dividing the number of cards produced by the bakeries in each of the two governorates by the number of cards for each governorate, and that the allocations of any authorized person shall not be more than 250 bundles under any circumstances.
The number of accredited people will be distributed based on maps and the number of residents in each of the neighborhoods, and each group of them is connected to a bakery according to its production capacity.
As for the bread sold at cost to those who want it or those who are excluded from the subsidy, it is transported by cars with the specifications mentioned above, and it is sold to those who want groceries in any number and distributed in a small number of bundles, not exceeding twenty bundles for each grocery.
