China today expressed its strong opposition to the blatant interference by the United States, Japan and Australia in its internal affairs, calling for peace and stability in the region.
Commenting on the meeting between US Secretary of State and Defense Anthony Blinken and Lloyd Austin and their Japanese counterparts Yoshimasa Hayashi and Nobu Kishi, in which the two sides announced to work together against China, Xinhua news agency quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin as saying during a press conference, commenting on the meeting between US Secretary of State and Defense Anthony Blinken and Lloyd Austin and their Japanese counterparts Yoshimasa Hayashi and Nobu Kishi, in which the two sides announced to work together against China, "We express our strong dissatisfaction and resolute opposition to the actions of The United States, Japan and Australia for blatant interference in China's internal affairs and fabricating false information to discredit it and undermine unity and mutual trust among countries in the region," he stressed, stressing that maintaining peace, stability and development in East Asia and the Asia-Pacific region requires adherence to true multilateralism and respect for the open regional cooperation framework that was formed on the Over the years and taking the path of solidarity, dialogue and cooperation.
Wang noted that the United States, Japan and Australia claim openness, inclusiveness and freedom, but in reality they unite to engage in small circles against other countries to promote military intimidation, which is in opposition to the trend of peaceful development.
Wang called on the countries concerned to stop the cooperation plan between the United States, Britain and Australia on nuclear submarines, stop pushing the discharge of contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear accident into the Pacific Ocean, and stop stirring up regional divisions and confrontations.
