In the case of symptomatic patients with comorbidities, those over 60 years of age or children under 3 years of age, they should consult with their reference health center for the respective follow-up.
The minister specified that as for asymptomatic patients identified as close contacts of confirmed and suspected cases, if they are fully immunized, they are not required to perform preventive isolation, although they should take extreme biosecurity measures such as the use of a facial mask and avoid visits to other people. vulnerable.
If a person is in close contact and was not vaccinated, they must keep isolation for 7 days "to avoid being a source of contagion for other people."
