Today, the total recorded infections with the Corona virus around the world exceeded 300 million cases since the outbreak of the epidemic, as countries struggle to stop the spread of the new mutant “Omicron”.
According to an AFP census based on official figures, the number of HIV infections has reached 300 million and 42,439 infections in all countries of the world, including all cases that have been officially announced since the outbreak of the disease was first reported in late December 2019.
Since the appearance of the mutant “Omicron” last December, the world has witnessed a fourth wave of the epidemic, which has led to several countries recording record numbers of injuries, but the high number of injuries has not been accompanied so far with the high number of deaths.
