In Germany, access to restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes for people who have been vaccinated twice and those who have recovered will soon only be possible with a daily negative rapid test.
According to SPIEGEL information, the federal and state governments have agreed on this in a joint video link.
The so-called 2G plus rule therefore applies nationwide and regardless of the local incidence.
Boosted people are exempt from the obligation to test from the day of their booster vaccination.
Those who are unable to provide proof of vaccination or convalescence are completely denied access to catering establishments.
When implementing the regulation, the federal states want to "pay special attention to bars and pubs," the decision paper continues.
