Deputy José Évrard, loyal to Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, died of Covid-19

The elected Pas-de-Calais had been hospitalized since December 27 following breathing difficulties. He was 76 years old.


The deputy (Debout la France) of Pas-de-Calais, José Evrard, 76, died this Friday as a result of Covid-19, we learned from his entourage.

"He had been hospitalized since December 27, following breathing difficulties", confides in Parisian Guillaume Kaznowski, his parliamentary attaché, himself contaminated by Covid-19 at this period.

José Evrard had opposed the vaccination obligation and the health pass, but had never publicly indicated whether or not he was vaccinated.
