Distribution of Russian aid to the people of the village of Shamiya Al-Mahalba in Lattakia countryside

Today, the Russian Coordination Center provided humanitarian aid to a number of families and the families of the martyrs in the village of Shamiya Al-Mahalbeh in Lattakia countryside.

The center's representative, Colonel Vladimir Mazarov, told SANA reporter that "aid was distributed in this village because it contains many families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives to defend the homeland, in addition to a large number of war-wounded."

In turn, the mayor of the village, Mazen Khair Bek, stated that 500 food rations were distributed to families, containing oil, sugar, rice and sweets, in addition to aid for 45 martyr families, including school bags for children and stationery.

Zuhair Sebihi, a resident of the village and a supervisor in the Shamiya Association, thanked the Russian side for these initiatives in support of the Syrian people, explaining that the village includes more than 110 martyrs and about 250 wounded, with severe and minor injuries.
