Duchess Kate is in the public eye as a member of the British royal family.

However, she used to imagine her life very differently.

London - Duchess Kate (39) is one of the most photographed women in the world.

As reported by 24royal.de, she leads a life for the crown at the side of Prince William (39), which, however, does not quite meet her wishes.

Many girls dream of being a princess in a magnificently decorated palace, but Duchess Kate - at that time still Kate Middleton - is said to have forged completely different plans at a young age.

As a family friend confided in aristocracy expert Emily Andrews, Kate, who grew up in the tranquil town of Bucklebury, Berkshire, used to long for a simple life.

“All Catherine ever wanted was a house in the country, lots of kids, dogs, and an AGA stove.

She wasn't interested in having a big job or getting famous, ”Andrews wrote in the UK's Sun.

Prince William and Duchess Kate are considered the royal dream couple.

Kate was able to fulfill part of her lifelong dream - the ducal couple have a country estate in Norfolk, three children together and a Cocker Spaniel - but the 39-year-old was not granted a life far from the limelight.

Kate certainly does not regret the path she has taken, after all, she and Prince William have found their love and family happiness.

Kate also seems to have made friends with her celebrities.

She flourishes in her roles as a mother of three, wife and Duchess of Cambridge, which not only earns her points of sympathy with the British people, but also the trust of Queen Elizabeth II (95).

The once bourgeois art student has developed into an important pillar of the monarchy and it is hard to imagine Buckingham Palace without it.
