This Friday, January 7, France commemorates the deadly attacks against
Charlie Hebdo
and the Hypercacher, which left 17 dead (including one terrorist) and 20 injured, just seven years ago.
At the end of the morning, tributes are scheduled in Paris, in the presence of the mayor, Anne Hidalgo, and the Minister of the Interior, Gerald Darmanin.
In accordance with the wishes of the families, these ceremonies will be marked by sobriety and reserved for relatives, surrounded by large security perimeters.

The commemorations will begin at 11 a.m. at 10, rue Nicolas Appert, in the 11th arrondissement, in front of the former premises of
Charlie Hebdo
. They will continue at 11:15 am Boulevard Richard Lenoir, in tribute to police lieutenant Ahmed Merabet, coldly shot by the Kouachi brothers. Finally, the procession will go to Porte de Vincennes, in the 20th arrondissement, to honor the memory of the victims of the Hypercacher, murdered by the terrorist Amedy Coulibaly two days after the attack on
Charlie Hebdo
. At each stage of meditation, a reading from the commemorative plaque will be read and a wreath placed. A minute of silence will be observed and a sung Marseillaise, before Anne Hidalgo and Gérald Darmanin greet the families.
Tributes are pouring in on social networks
On social networks too, tributes to the victims of the attacks are starting to pour in.

On the right, Eric Ciotti and Laurent Wauquiez recalled the importance of “

”.
On the left, the PCF presidential candidate, Fabien Roussel, has posted on Twitter the names of the 12 victims who perished in the Charlie Hebdo attack.
