MADEiN Grand Est fully intends to take advantage of the French presidency of the European Union.
This regional structure of economic animation, dedicated to the furniture branch, and representing 166 companies employing more than 7,000 people, calls on the President of the Republic to work actively for the recognition of the geographical indication (GI) of products manufactured within the EU.

Until then, certain food products, such as Bayonne ham, Camargue rice or even Guérande salt, have been able to transform their GI into a PGI (protected geographical indication), but not manufactured products.
This label thus gives them European recognition, which MADEiN Grand Est would like to be able to affix to the geographical indication “Liffol headquarters”, the first awarded in France, in 2016.
