Last year, the General Authority of Daraa Hospital provided about 278,000 medical services to patients, distributed to clinic visitors, surgeries, deliveries, laboratory analyzes, x-rays, echocardiograms, and others.
Director General of the Commission, Dr. Bassam Al-Hariri, told SANA reporter that the Commission established a medical isolation department last year, consisting of 24 regular beds, 4 care beds, and a reserve isolation department with a capacity of 16 beds.
Hariri indicated that the past year also witnessed the rehabilitation of the commission's maternity hospital and the restoration of the ophthalmic and neurosurgery departments, provided that they enter service after completing the necessary equipment.
