The North Point Branch of Hang Seng Bank was listed in the government's mandatory inspection announcement, and its service will be suspended from today (7th) afternoon.
According to the Hang Seng Bank, the North Point branch of Hang Seng Bank on King’s Road is included in the government’s mandatory testing announcement. Starting from 3 pm today, the North Point branch will temporarily suspend services until further notice to facilitate all branch employees to go to the testing center for nucleic acid testing.
The bank also stated that, for the sake of prudence, the bank will arrange for additional deep cleaning and disinfection during the period when the branch is out of service.
Hang Seng added that it is committed to maintaining normal banking services for its customers, while putting the safety and health of its customers and employees as the primary consideration.
Regarding the new coronavirus disease epidemic, the bank has adopted a series of preventive measures, including increasing the frequency of deep cleaning and disinfection of branches, installing isolation rubber sheets at open counters, requiring employees to take their body temperature before going to work, and wearing masks in branches.
The bank has also stepped up reminding staff to clean and disinfect their hands frequently.
In addition, the bank will measure the body temperature of customers entering the branch and require customers to wear masks.
