According to the information, numerous rescue workers moved out with off-road vehicles to help the woman and rescue her from the helpless situation.
As reported by the island fire brigade, she was 57-year-old on the north side of the island from the masses of sand.
Firefighters were able to free them from the dune with shovels and then hand them over to the rescue service.
According to the local rescue workers, it is not uncommon for the dune to come loose on the beach section: In recent years there have been repeated demolitions on the edge dunes.
This resulted in demolition edges, some of which protrude up to eight meters into the depth.
