After four years of procrastination, Emmanuel Macron finally rallied to nuclear power and convinced Brussels of its merits.


We are almost there.

Barring a last-minute (bad) surprise, nuclear power should be recognized by the European Commission as a useful energy for the ecological transition, thus facilitating its financing.

For any rational mind, this decision is obvious: nuclear energy emits almost no CO2 and is much more efficient than so-called renewable sources.

Indeed, when the demand for electricity is maximum, in winter mornings and evenings, there is no sun and generally no wind either (it falls when it is cold).

It's too bad.

nuclear power has come a long way, even in France.
