The Wendler of the CDU

Hans-Georg Maaßen is once again on the trail of a very hot thing.

The man has, you have to give him that, a nose for the really big conspiracies against our beautiful fatherland.

In an interview on hallo-meinung.de (that is really what it means), traitor Maaßen now expressed “the initial suspicion” that the corona pandemic was being used by “politicians” to make the state more authoritarian and to deprive citizens of their freedom.

That would of course be less nice.

Now you have to know that Maaßen didn't just pull his suspicions out of his fingers. No, like many of his buddies who specialize in whispering, he refers to a book by the founder of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab. Title: »COVID-19: The Great Change«. In right-wing extremist circles in particular, the book is often used as evidence that an international financial elite, in conjunction with politics, wants to introduce a new world order to their advantage - and is using the pandemic as a pretext. Attila Hildmann and Michael Wendler should like that.

Maaßen also spread the "moving appeal from Prof. Bhakdi" in which Sucharit Bhakdi calls for the corona vaccinations to be stopped because they would cost countless human lives and equate to executions. The fact that the public prosecutor's office in Schleswig-Holstein is investigating Prof. Bhakdi on charges of sedition does not bother the CDU execution experts.

In the meantime I have one or two initial suspicions myself when it comes to Maassen. Before he was promoted to head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, the service was supposed to protect society from conspiracy theorists, among other things. With moderation, such a specimen suddenly sat at the top and whispered eagerly. In the summer of 2018, for example, the top constitutional protector saw "good reasons" that the video of an attack on migrants in Chemnitz was "a targeted false information" in order to "distract the public from the murder in Chemnitz." Instead, he sensed a left-wing conspiracy. One wonders today how those politicians who appointed him at the time could get so wrong. Or did everything follow a perfidious plan by the Interior Minister at the time, Hans-Peter Friedrich (CSU),who wanted to test with Maassen's appeal whether the protection of the constitution is able to identify oaths in their own ranks?

The other initial suspicion is that Maassen is an agent financed by the SPD and the Greens with the task of inflicting the greatest possible damage on the political competitor.

According to the theory, Maaßen is supposed to tap into ever greater thrust from month to month in order to publicly demonstrate how much the CDU leadership is willing to squirm and embarrass, in order to keep the man happy, from whom it once approved the AfD voters hoped for.

If this is actually the plan, it was brilliant.

Because the party leadership's gruesome dealings with Hans-Georg Maaßen can't get any more embarrassing.
