In recent years car wrapping (on the sticker) has become more and more common.
It is used by those who want to change the color of their vehicle, sometimes to different and weird shades, without the need to repaint the vehicle.
Now BMW is revealing a new technological development, a kind of wrapper, but a little more advanced and sophisticated than those simple stickers.

BMW calls this development 'electronic ink' (E ink) and it can change colors depending on the driver's mood.
True, the choice of colors still does not allow for variety (like those simple stickers) when BMW's demo vehicle knows how to change its color from white to gray and then to black.
But it can be assumed that additional shades are only a matter of time.
BMW has actually created a kind of coating, with technology borrowed from Kindle and the like, that accurately tracks vehicle lines and matches them perfectly.
According to her, after the coating, a process takes place (in the oven) that produces a connection between all the surfaces in order to produce a continuous and smooth flow of these cells.
The result is both wonderful and strange, and as of this moment, this technology is not expected to arrive in the manufacturer's serial vehicles.
