Unterallgäu: Health Department changes corona contact determination

Unterallgäu - You shouldn't be surprised who will receive an email or SMS from the Unterallgäu health department in the future: According to a press release, some steps in the processing of corona cases will be automated in the coming week. New online forms that have an interface to the specialist program of the health department are replacing the previous corona investigation form and the contact tracking list. On the one hand, it should take much less time until those affected receive their isolation or quarantine certificate. On the other hand, the health department hopes to have more time for personal advice in difficult cases.
So far, all data had to be transferred to the software by the employees.
This time-consuming intermediate step is no longer necessary thanks to the new online forms, which can be filled out directly by those affected.
If you don't have a cell phone, an email address or an internet connection, the health department will contact you in writing or by phone.
Even if someone does not respond to the link, the health department will contact you in another way.
And this is how the new communication chain should work:
· In the case of the PCR test, the district office writes that the person being tested should give their mobile phone number and email address (if available).
If the PCR test is positive, the laboratory imports the result digitally into the health department's software.
· Those who tested positive will now automatically receive a link to the new online form
by email or SMS

To be on the safe side, if the PCR test is positive or if you are a close contact, the District Office recommends checking the spam folder regularly.
· The personal data
must be entered truthfully and completely in
the online form .
For example, it is about the vaccination status or whether you work in a sensitive area.
On this basis, the health department creates the isolation certificate.
· The person who tested positive then receives a second e-mail or SMS with a further link.
The close contact persons
must now be
entered - with their name, address, telephone or cell phone number and email address (if available).
· Next
, the close contact persons will receive
a link via email or SMS with the request to provide several important pieces of information.
This is about the vaccination status or contact with vulnerable groups.
According to the district office - if necessary - a quarantine certificate will also be created on this basis.
If you do not respond to a notification, the health department will investigate the case.
