Comedian Yassine Belattar will be tried for violence against a journalist from the Black Book media,

Le Figaro

learned from the Paris prosecutor's office on Friday, January 7.

Yassine Belattar, a time close to Emmanuel Macron, "

and two other men are summoned to the criminal court on June 8, 2022 to be tried on the count of voluntary violence in a meeting without incapacity

", we are told.

The facts date back to November 19, 2021. That day, Jordan Florentin and one of his colleagues, both journalists from the media Livre Noir related to the far right, presented themselves at the Théâtre de Dix Heures, in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, where Yassine Belattar plays. The next day on Twitter, Jordan Florentin accuses the comedian of having "

threatened with death

" and "

kept him locked up for an hour, gate down, in his theater (...) for having carried out (...) interviews with his audience in the street, before his show.

"

You are the next Mila

", would have launched the humorist, according to the words of Jordan Florentin, who filed a complaint for kidnapping, threats, theft and extortion.

For his part, Yassine Belattar denies these accusations. He also affirms that the two journalists presented at the entrance of the theater a health pass in the name of Adolf Hitler. The two camps blame each other for the tensions that arose that day, causing a torrent of insults on social networks towards each of the protagonists of the affair.

According to our colleagues from Le

Parisien

, the video surveillance of the place, consulted by the daily, reveals that Yassine Belattar would have actually jostled Jordan Florentin on November 19.

On the other hand, the journalist from Livre Noir would not have been physically restrained in the theater and his gates would have been lowered only a few centimeters, not preventing the exit of the spectators.

Thus, justice did not retain the qualifications of "

sequestration, extortion and theft

" of the complaint.

Yassine Belattar will however be tried for "

voluntary violence in a meeting without incapacity

", as the Paris prosecutor's office told us.
