A driver drove his vehicle into a group of climate activists on Saturday and then fled.
One person was injured.
Hamburg - Under the motto "No matter whether summer or winter, the climate crisis and the extinction of species do not wait!", Around 15 climate activists from "Extinction Rebellion" gathered in Hamburg * on Saturday (January 8th).
They met on the B15, where they blocked traffic as part of their protest.
But not all motorists could be stopped by this.
A Land Rover suddenly accelerated and drove towards the group.
The whole thing happened so quickly that the police were no longer able to intervene, reports

The driver had headed for one of the banners that blocked the road.
The two activists who were holding the banner at the time could have saved themselves by jumping to the side.
One of the two was injured in the shoulder, but later demonstrated further.

The Land Rover driver didn't stop to help, but apparently drove away.
They searched for the man with several police cars and even a helicopter, but without success.
An officer recognized the license plate.
This is to determine the driver now.
