The Medical Corps published tonight (Saturday) updated guidelines for the conduct of army units in the presence of the corona virus.

The main changes concern the transition to activity in capsules, the limitation of the number present in facilities such as dining rooms and synagogues, and the isolation and testing policy in case of contact with verified patients.

As part of the effort to deal with the epidemic, the IDF



will set up an isolation facility in the Goldmintz house in the next 48 hours, where soldiers who cannot be isolated in their homes will be absorbed.

Similar to the change in the civilian outline of tests, the IDF is also switching to the use of antigen tests as the main means of identifying the virus. Soldiers will be able to be tested at MDA positions free of charge, and later testing will also be possible at the unit's clinics.
