The Israelis went out into nature:
about 150,000 hikers took advantage of the pleasant weather and visited nature reserves and national parks throughout the country during the Sabbath.
The Nature and Parks Authority stated that the leading sites were the Yarkon National Park (Tel Afek), Caesarea, Migdal Tzedek and the Banias Reserve.
"Along the way, hikers met guides at information stations deployed along the route, explaining the lush Yarkon springs that formed a large, swampy swamp after several rainy days, past landscapes and bird species in the area," said Adar Stolro, community director for Central Nature and Parks Authority.
