Disaster in Brazil:
15 people were injured today (Saturday) at the popular Capitolio site after a cliff collapsed on the boats that were next to it.
In hard published documentation, the cliff apparently hit three boats directly before they had time to escape and the incident was also documented by the other boats that were nearby.
According to local news portal O Tempo, the first rescuers to arrive at the scene reported at least 15 injured, but no casualties have yet been reported.
Roblison Taysira, who has been frequenting the area with his boat for years, said that "everyone is in shock, and it is not clear how many people were injured."
He estimated that there were also casualties: "A great many people were injured and there are a large number of ambulances that arrived at the scene. It is still impossible to assess the extent of the tragedy," he said.
Also, according to the globo, at least two deaths were determined in the tragedy.
