It was sunniest in Leutkirch

Leutkirch - The German Weather Service (DWD) published the annual statistics of its around 2,000 measuring stations at the end of 2021.
Leutkirch im Allgäu was once again determined to be the sunniest place in Germany.
The DWD's measuring station in Leutkirch-Herlazhofen recorded a total of 2,045 hours of sunshine in 2021, which is 16 percent above the long-term average.
This is also significantly more hours of sunshine than the German average, which last year was 1,650 hours of sunshine.
Kaufbeuren came in second place among the places with the most sunshine in all of Germany.
The sun shone there for 2,037 hours last year.
The Allgäu was also noticed again and again in the data from the weather service.
Most of the precipitation (2,385 liters per square meter) was measured in Balderschwang.
