"

For the benefit of the health crisis, where we have seen a drop in the number of foreign tourists, we must use this painful moment to turn it into an opportunity (...) and develop French tourism in France

," said Marine Le Pen during a press conference organized on a wine and olive growing estate, where she presented her proposals before discussing with professionals in the sector.

Marine Le Pen is considering the creation of a "large tourism ministry"

"

Even if we must not neglect the distant clientele, we are moving towards a consolidation of tourist localism

", added the candidate, accusing the "

macronist power of liberal inspiration

" of making "

the promotion for the destination France

" and to let “

the invisible hand of the market organize the rest

”, a “

suicidal process

” in his eyes. She defended "

a strategic State which (...) coordinates the public actors and supports the private actors

" in a logic of "

tourist basins

", with a "

consequent support for employment and innovation

" and a "

return of security

»For tourists, especially foreigners.

Among a dozen proposals, the candidate envisages a "

large tourism ministry

" depending on "the

one in charge of regional planning

" and not Foreign Affairs as currently, or the "

mobilization of prefectural services

" so that the "

small actors

”access European funds.

Other measures considered at the national level will also apply to this sector, such as a "

regional development bonus

" aimed at promoting the relocation of activities, a state bonus for working students ranging "

up to" 20% of income, up to a limit of 200 euros per month

”, or a reduction in employer contributions for companies which increase wages by 10% up to three times the minimum wage.

Faced with the labor shortage, which sometimes leads to the hiring of foreign seasonal workers, Marine Le Pen hoped that the State could "

create an ecosystem

" which encourages "to

increase wages

" and "

that we be flexible on labor laws

”so that two part-time contracts“

do not cost more

”than a full-time contract.
