Munster: an employee of the vaccination center "violently attacked"

An investigation of flagrance for "violence in assembly with weapon and with premeditation" was opened this Saturday, announced the prosecutor of Colmar.


An employee of the Munster vaccination center in Haut-Rhin was "

violently assaulted

" Friday by three people, the Haut-Rhin prefecture and the Grand Est Regional Health Agency (ARS) announced on Saturday.

The prosecutor of the Republic of Colmar, Catherine Sorita-Minard, told AFP that this Saturday she opened a flagrant investigation for "

violence in meetings with weapons and with premeditation

". The investigation was entrusted to the research section of the Colmar gendarmerie to "

identify the attackers and their motivations

," she said. The facts occurred when the vaccination center closed at around 8 p.m. Friday, added the magistrate, according to which the victim was not in serious condition.

The prefect of Haut-Rhin and the director general of ARS Grand Est denounced "

an unacceptable act

A psychological unit will be set up "
