District - Five companies from the district were recognized for their exemplary commitment to climate and environmental protection.
The Bavarian Environment Pact was agreed in 1995 with the idea of motivating companies and state institutions to implement operational environmental protection beyond what is legally required.
The focus is on the foresighted avoidance of future environmental pollution and not its repair.
Not only the implementation of the environmental protection measures but also the presentation for imitation is essential.
District Administrator Josef Niedermaier was recently able to award the certificates for environmentally conscious management to five regional companies:
A certificate went to the teamwork from Münsing, who are campaigning for the protection of the environment with the use of rainwater, energy-saving vehicles, water-saving system technology as well as photovoltaic and solar collector systems.
Hawe, Hofherr and Eberl
Hawe Hydraulik from Sachsenkam also received an award.
The company has had its environmental and energy management system certified according to ISO-DIN.
For this purpose, the lighting in the factory hall was converted to LED and a new lighting control system was installed.
The Posthotel Hofherr in Königsdorf shone with a multitude of measures that led to the award.
Including the use of a geothermal heat pump, the use of regional and organically grown food and energy-efficient lighting control.
The Eberl bakery / confectionery from Bichl also received a certificate for saving energy through a combined heat and power unit and reducing CO² emissions.
The Sparkasse Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen received a certificate for the photovoltaic system covering its own needs, the use of e-cars including e-filling stations for customers and employees.
