Damascus-SANA
In support of families returning to their areas to improve their economic situation, enable them to face life challenges and contribute to community development and production, the Syrian Trust for Development provided agricultural financing opportunities for 250 families in the countryside of Damascus and Aleppo.
Funding grants come within the agricultural grants program funded by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees for beneficiaries with experience in raising livestock and who have a suitable place for that.
The secretariat said in a statement published today on its official page on the social networking site Facebook that it provided funding to 100 families in Ain al-Bayda, Daraya, in the governorate of Damascus countryside, as well as to 150 families in al-Safira and its countryside in Aleppo governorate, indicating that the grants provided in Aleppo included distributing livestock to beneficiaries through the Al-Safira beacon. The trust works to support the stability of families who were displaced due to the war and return to their areas with the aim of reaching live and strong local communities.
