The scenes with the “mountain rescuers” are often breathtaking and spectacular. A “Behind the Scenes” video shows how they are shot - including a dicey situation for an actor.
Ramsau - After weeks full of joy, the fans of the "mountain rescuers" now have to wait patiently again. The current season of the successful ZDF series ended with a furious finale. The last episode actually ended with a big bang, which doesn't promise much for the relationship between the two main characters Katharina Strasser (played by Luise Bähr) and Markus Kofler (played by Sebastian Ströbel).
In addition to the relationship drama about the main characters, there was of course plenty of action.
One or the other fan will certainly have asked himself a few times how the spectacular rescue operations on steep rock faces and in crevasses can be sensed with the camera.
The opportunity to find out is now offered by a new Instagram video that the official channel for the series posted together with actor Philip Birnstiel, who played Björn Müller in the season finale.
And in one situation things seem to be a bit tricky.
"Die Bergretter" -Star films behind the scenes - then it gets tricky for a moment
In the cut clip, the creators of the series and actor Birnstiel take the fans to “Behind the Scenes”.
You can see how sometimes rapid falls from slopes and cliffs are actually really absorbed - namely naturally roped or sometimes falling on well-padded surfaces.
One scene, apparently filmed by Birnstiel himself, seems a bit dangerous.
The actor films how from the completely snow-covered trees at the location - apparently in the middle of the forest - a thick load of snow suddenly falls down, almost like an avalanche.
And probably only a few meters in front of him.
In any case, the camera then switches to selfie mode, you can see Birnstiel kneeling in the snow.
He lets a short "just" follow his startled look.
Fortunately, everything went well again.
“Die Bergretter”: Fans celebrate spectacular “Behind the Scenes” recordings
In any case, the fans seem to like the spectacular shots.
"Thanks for the cool insights" or something like that says several times in the comments on the video.
One viewer even wants “more backstage insights into how the consequences are created”.
However, many fans also express their sadness that the season is now over - and they now have to wait again until there is news from the "mountain rescuers".
In return, the fans get a lot from their favorite stars on social media and sometimes the drama is not neglected.
Main actor Sebastian Ströbel recently surprised with a blood-smeared photo for Christmas.
