The Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Commission confirmed that the female prisoners are suffering from extremely difficult conditions in the Israeli occupation detention centers as a result of its arbitrary practices against them.
In a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, the commission stated that the 33 female prisoners are living in very harsh and difficult conditions in Damoun detention center, which lacks the most basic necessities of life. Continuing due to deliberate medical negligence against them.
The Commission appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross and international human rights organizations to pressure the occupation to stop its violations against Palestinian prisoners and to release them.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners face harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
