This afternoon, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, made a phone call to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed.
Minister Miqdad conveyed a message from President Bashar al-Assad addressed to the President of the Mauritanian Republic, Mohamed Ould Sheikh al-Ghazwani, to check on his health.
Minister Miqdad and his Mauritanian counterpart discussed, during the call, the course of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of their development and progress in line with the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples in Syria and Mauritania.
