Dozens of Palestinians participated in a vigil in the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank in support of the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer.
According to Wafa Agency, the participants in the vigil organized in the city raised Palestinian flags and banners calling on the international community to take urgent action to pressure the occupation to release the prisoner Abu Hamid, who is living in difficult health conditions that threaten his life and the rest of the prisoners in the occupation’s prisons, especially the sick.
Various parts of the West Bank have recently witnessed solidarity vigils in support of the prisoner Abu Hamid, who has been detained since 2002, calling on the international community to pressure the occupation to release him immediately, especially after his health deteriorated a few days ago and he was placed in a coma and placed on respirators as a result of his suffering from the consequences of the operation to remove a cancerous tumor. in the lungs.
