Today, the Al-Maleha Magistrate's Court opened in Damascus countryside, which is competent to adjudicate lawsuits and judicial affairs and provide judicial services to citizens.
Justice Minister Ahmed Al-Sayed explained in an exclusive statement to SANA that the opening of this court came as a result of the joint efforts between the government and the local community after life returned to normal in Al-Maliha area and its villages and towns after its liberation from terrorism.
Minister Al-Sayed indicated that the presence of a court in Al-Maliha area contributes to saving time and effort and easing the burdens and hardships of transportation for the people of the region to review their judicial affairs, explaining that the court includes a public prosecution judge, a justice of the peace, a Sharia judge and a notary to organize judicial documents and agencies.
This was followed by briefing the Minister of Justice on the reality of the work of the Jaramana Court, meeting the judges and discussing the difficulties facing their work. The Minister stressed the need to expedite the settlement and separation of cases, while he listened to a number of cases and problems raised by some auditors present in the court, so that they could be dealt with according to the available possibilities.
