Five people, including two children, were killed in a fire that broke out today in a house in the town of Shariya, located in the Kostroma region, northeast of the Russian capital, Moscow.
The TASS news agency quoted the Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee as saying that "five bodies were found while putting out the fire and removing the rubble, including two children aged 5 and 9," noting that the fire broke out due to negligence.
The administration added that about 32 firefighters and 13 firefighting equipment contributed to putting out the fire that engulfed the entire wooden house.
