The corona pandemic makes you creative: Narrhalla Moosburg opened the foolish season not with a lavish ball night, but with a small enthronement in the open air.

Moosburg

- “Enthronement with a difference” was the motto on Saturday afternoon in front of the Moosburg town hall.

The Narrhalla had come to the Moosburg Mayor Josef Dollinger with the old and the new prince couple to officially start the carnival season in the city of three roses.

The mayor expressed his regret that because of Corona there could not be an enthronement ball in the town hall for the second time, but now you just have to make the best of it.

And that's what the fools did with the Corona-compliant open-air enthronement.

The festively decorated town hall entrance was filled with sound in the typical carnival style, and Narrhalla President Michael Ender welcomed all those present and guided through the short program.

By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.

First, after two years of reign, the reigning highnesses - "Princess Pia I - regent from the media world" and "Tim I - conqueror of marble and granite" - had their last official appearance. Once again the two performed their waltz, thanked the court and all subjects in a short speech and then handed the Regentenkasperl over to their successors.

"Princess Tanja III. vom Häuserbau aus der Feldkirchnerau ”and their“ Prince Christian II the seed hero from Amperfeld ”officially took over the reign of the fool people. Both want to "spread the carnival mood in Moosburg and the surrounding area" in the coming weeks, despite these difficult times. The new prince couple is happy to rule the fifth season for the next two years. While the carnival this year had to take place in a very slimmed-down form and with new ideas, Prince Christian already announced that in 2023 what he and his court would see in this carnival will be harvested. Afterwards, Mayor Josef Dollinger symbolically presented the new ruling couple with the key to the town hall.As a small present, the Moosburg mayor had a chain of office for the regents with him. This showed the Moosburg city council members on small portraits. In return, the Prince Couple Dollinger presented a provisional Mardi Gras medal with the regents' initials.

The new prince couple and also Narrhalla President Michael Ender invited all Moosburgers to celebrate a slightly different carnival in the next few weeks.

There are already a lot of ideas that would be implemented depending on the legal framework.

In any case, the Narrhalla will spread carnival flair via its social media channels and the “Narrenkastl” at the town hall will be reactivated from the beginning of February.

The 2022 carnival newspaper will be available in stores in downtown Moosburg as early as the end of January.

If possible, says Michael Ender, the aim is to please the very young and very old in Moosburg with performances by the guards and the prince couple.

The program is up and the court is completely vaccinated, so that at least outdoor appearances are conceivable.
