Ascholding / Wolfratshausen - On five occasions, an Ascholding woman is said to have sold a gram of marijuana to a young woman in her Wolfratshausen apartment.

Therefore, the 33-year-old recently had to answer for illicit drug trafficking in the local court.

Although the drug trade could not be proven, he still received a heavy fine.

Defense attorney seeks indulgence for his client

The Wolfratshauserin herself could not be questioned: she had not accepted the invitation to appear as a witness in court. The admission of the defendant, who is already listed in the Federal Central Register with eleven previous convictions, five of which are for drug offenses, was sufficient for the court to convict. However, not because of trading, but because of "willful unauthorized distribution" of narcotic drugs. Defense attorney Burkhard Pappers urged his client, who claims to have been using drugs since he was ten years old (“This is standard in my family”), due to his “multiple substance abuse” to have a “slight intellectual disability” the 33-year-old, who announced during the negotiation that he would like to have therapy soon. With 90 daily rates he is punished sufficiently,said the lawyer.

Verdict: € 1,800 fine

Judge Helmut Berger followed the prosecutor's request in his judgment and sentenced the Ascholdinger to a fine of 120 daily rates of 15 euros each (a total of 1800 euros), which the early retiree can pay off in installments of 50 euros.
